Michael Mrvica is the Managing Director of Edge Risk Services (“Edge”). Prior to joining Edge, Michael spent 10 years working at The Vertex Companies, LLC as an Executive Vice President responsible for the management, operations, strategy and business development of company-wide architectural, engineering, construction and environmental services. He worked closely with a variety of insurance clients, law firms, corporations, individuals, management companies and homeowners’ associations on a wide range of assignments, providing oversight and management from the inception to closure of matters.
Michael also has almost 20 years of experience in environmental, mass tort and property insurance and litigation as a former practicing attorney and then Senior Vice President of the Environmental Casualty Claims Department at AIG. He has managed and handled thousands of claims involving coverage and litigation, responsible for compliance and risk awareness, budget and the resolution of complex matters. Michael reserved and forecasted environmental and mass tort risks during his time at AIG and worked closely with members of various departments (underwriting, actuarial, etc.) to develop claims handling protocols. He also provided support and risk analysis for various divisions.
Michael is a graduate of Lehigh University, received his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University and is admitted to practice in New Jersey. Michael has also worked as an adjunct college professor, serves on the Executive Board of the East Windsor PAL and is the Director of the East Windsor PAL travel soccer program.

Prior to joining Alan Gray, Paul worked in the claims department at Crum & Forster Commercial Insurance for four years and spent an additional three years managing a claim project at a law firm in Boston. Paul has a B.A. in Economics from Providence College, as well as an MBA from Boston University and a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University. He is admitted to practice in the state of Massachusetts.

John conducts policy and contract review and analysis. He leads the training of all claim handlers in the organization.
At Sovereign, John oversees the entire claims administration function across the business and works to provide stakeholders and partners with the most optimal results, as well as the most responsive and cost-effective services possible. He is responsible for identifying and assigning resources to claims and ensuring quality control throughout customer engagement.
John graduated with his Juris Doctorate from St John’s
University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York State Courts and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
